Questions
Choosing where to live
Frequently asked questions
What are the best neighborhoods in Las Vegas?
There isn’t one best neighborhood, only the best fit for your budget, commute and lifestyle. Summerlin and Henderson are the most searched, but the southwest, northwest and North Las Vegas each offer strong options at different price points. Start with the neighborhood quiz or compare areas side by side.
Is it better to live in Summerlin or Henderson?
Both are large, well-planned areas with parks and shopping. Summerlin is one master plan on the west edge by Red Rock Canyon; Henderson is its own city on the southeast side with several distinct communities and access to Lake Mead. Read the full Summerlin vs. Henderson comparison.
Which Las Vegas areas have the most new construction?
Most new building is on the edges of the valley: Summerlin West, Skye Canyon and the far northwest, the southwest and Enterprise, Inspirada and Cadence in Henderson, and North Las Vegas. The new construction guide explains how to buy from a builder with your own agent.
